I sit back and reflect on my first session. I remember how nerve-wracking it was for me. My heart was thumping and my throat had a lump. My camera felt so big and I felt so small. I was completely overwhelmed with nerves and fear. From simply talking to or even posing my clients my anxiety consumed me.

Over the sessions I have noticed I have become more confident in my skills. I am beginning to realize my potential and have even begun taking steps to branch out. I'm still a little nervous at times. I consider myself a small sprout in this big field of photography and remind myself that I can do this!

The other day I was on my Facebook page for Sublime Visions where Framed Photographer Magazine was suggested to me. I noticed a post they had up about an upcoming issue so I took a leap of faith and submitted my work. I thought, "Hey my work might be good enough" and to my surprise it was! I can officially say I'm a PUBLISHED photographer.

It's honestly super surreal to see my work showcased in Framed Photographer Magazine alongside other talented photographers! I had to pinch myself to make sure this wasn't just a dream. You can check my published work out in Framed Photographer Magazine Issue #160! I really am so excited to continue growing myself and Sublime Visions! Thank you to all my family, friends and clients who have supported me! Especially my husband, his support means the world to me and without his belief in me I would of never pursued this passion.
